Hofner Super Solid 3 electric guitar - the one Mark Knopfler started playing on back in the day

Believed to be 1963 but could be 1964 - difficult to be accurate with these early serial numbers.

The body has a few dings etc but in great condition for the age, the neck is straight, frets have just been levelled and polished. The electrics have all been cleaned up and work fine and the playability of the guitar is really good. The tuners also work smoothly and retain tune.

A great bit of 1960s history in great overall condition and only likely to go up in value in the year ahead.

Will come in a coffin style hard case which suits the era of the guitar nicely.
